"compagnie français de l´afrique occidentale" blue envelope from Lagos via Kano to Zinder, bearing 1914 2 1/2d. tied by light c.d.s. and showing at left "controle/par/l´autorité militaire" label tied by "territore militaire du niger/le commandant" cachet in violet with, on reverse, Kano (15.2) and arrival (21.2) datestamps; the envelope with back panel cut in half for display and with part of top cut away.
