The Royal Niger Company´s Territories West African Frontier Force 1899 crested envelope from Lt. R.S. McClintock RE to "Lieutenant McClintock RN, H.M.S. Excellent, Portsmouth", marked "no stamps available Nigeria", showing blue crayon "T 2/10", "1d/620" h.s. and, on reverse, fine strike of Burutu S.G. Type 4 transit d.s. in violet for 6 September; the envelope a little damaged at top left.
