The Royal Niger Company´s Territories West African Frontier Force 1899 (29 July) envelope to London, marked "On Special Service, No stamps available, J. Howe 1st WAFF", showing superb Lokoja oval d.s. in violet with another strike dated 31 July on reverse with blue crayon "T" and "2d", the latter overstruck by "1d/620" h.s. and, on reverse, good to fine strike of Burutu S.G.
