Brogden R.M.L.I., Royal Niger Protectorate Company, Africa", marked in red ink "Try Akassa" and in black ink "Returned from Akassa, no reason stated", bearing GB 2 1/2d. tied by "320" duplex, showing Liverpool L.P.O. (11.1 and 13.4), Old Calabar River (17.2) and red Paid Liverpool Br. Packet (12.4) datestamps with, on reverse, London (11.1), Old Calabar River (16.2) and Forcados River (4.3) datestamps.
