Type 4) 1897 (6 Aug.) envelope (225x96mm.) to Sierra Leone, marked "Per RMS Dahomey", bearing GB 2 1/2d. tied by good to fine strike of datestamp in violet and showing, on reverse, good impression of Royal Niger Co. red wax seal and just legible Freetown arrival c.d.s.; the envelope a little ragged at left through opening.
