The Royal Niger Company´s Territories 1888 - 1899 Handstruck Stamps Abutshi 1899 (20 Nov.) envelope ex the "Braham" correspondence to Birmingham, bearing GB 1881 1d. lilac tied by fine large part strike of the "the royal niger co. c.&l./customs/office/abutshi" double oval d.s. in violet (S.G. similar to Type 8, Sacher Type 14) and showing fair to fine "the royal niger company./chartered & limited./post office/burutu." double-framed d.s. (28.11) in black seriffed letters (S.G. Type 4, Sacher Type 10); the envelope with some light creases which cross the latter datestamp. A fine and rare cover showing this short-lived datestamp.
