Transvaal Later Issues 1900 (18 June) V.R.I. Overprints 1/2d. green, variety "v.i.r.", R.4/4, fresh with large part original gum. Very rare. B.P.A. Certificate (1951). S.G. 226f, £600. Photo Estimate £ 300-400 Note: The "V.I.R." error occurred in the first batch of stamps to be overprinted - a few sheets of the 1/2d., 2d. and 4d.. The error was then corrected with the corrected stamp showing the "I" dropped by 0,75mm.
