Transvaal 1877 (28 Sept.) - 79 Overprinted "v.r./transvaal.", S.G. Types 6 and 7 Fine roulette 15 1/2 to 16 1d. red on blue (4, two unused with one of the unused and one used with no stop after "v"), 1d. red on orange (4, one unused and two S.G. Type 7), 3d. mauve on buff (2, one SG. Type 7), 3d. mauve on green vertical pair comprising both overprint types, 6d. blue on green (6 with [11R] and [40R] unused) and 6d. blue on blue (6 comprising [39L] unused, [2R]III, [5R]IV and [28R]IV, another with Cape Town c.d.s. and one S.G. Type 7, all used); a few faults in places though of generally good to fine appearance. S.G. 122-127 group, £1,943+ Estimate £ 400-500
