Nyasaland 1895 "one penny." on 2d. sea green and vermilion complete 9th. vertical row of six with sheet margins at top and at foot, the third stamp with variety surcharge double, the stamp at foot with additional manuscript bar obliterating the original value and initialled in margin, large part or full original gum. Very fine and exceptionally rare with only two or three such strips known. A remarkable showpiece. B.P.A. Certificate (2007). S.G. 20a, £7,500+.
