Northern Nigeria 1900 (15 Sept.) "Appendix B" sheet (118x247mm.), being a reply to the request from the Colonial Office, forwarded by the Crown Agents for "Specimens of postage stamps for use in Northern Nigeria printed from the Universal Plate", bearing nine different colour trials in the form of imperforate proofs, one in green with handpainted "northern nigeria" at top and " 1/2d" at foot with the value highlighted in Chinese white, the others eight being Imperium 6d. trials in various colours with suggested values between "1d" and "10/-" written alongside each.
