x Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika 1938 1c., 5c., 10c., 15c., 20c., 30c., 50c. with variety rope not joined to sail, 1/-, 2/-, 3/-, 5/- and 10/-, all neatly cancelled with Nairobi c.d.s. on 1938 (2 May) first day envelope addressed locally (largely covered by some of the adhesives); the 50c. with one short perf. and a few of the values with traces of foxing though a rare first day cover franking, particularly with the 50c. variety.
