Great Britain Postal History 1799 (6 July) two bills from His Majesty´s Envoys at the Courts of Stockholm and the Elector Palatinate "For Stationary, Postage of Letter and Packets, Intelligence, Memorials, etc"; fine and very unusual. Also 1827 (23 Sept.) letter from Lord Denbeigh in Newham Paddox to Francis Freeling complaining that all letters sent to him via Birmingham had been charged and this is an act of "intentional impertinence on the part of the Post Master there..."; he continues on other postal matters including enquiring about the delay in collecting letters from Lutterworth. A very interesting letter showing the lengths that the Post Office were prepared to go to answer some complaints from the aristocracy Estimate £ 150-200
