Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate II QC, good to large margins all round, tied by red Maltese Cross on 1840 (26 June) entire to Alston, re-addressed to Gateshead with red manuscript "Redirected at", adjacent to blue undated double-ring "alston" handstamp on the obverse with manuscript "1" redirection fee alongside, on reverse blue "newcastleontyne" datestamp across flap; fine.
