Bahamas 1833 (23 Apr.) entire letter from Nassau to Spanish Town, Jamaica, rated "4" and "1/3" and showing, on reverse, fine "bahamas" h.s. (B1); the contents deal with a missionary´s lucky escape after his vessel was stuck on a reef near Andros Island, and his work with "recently liberated Africans".
