Great Britain Postal History A miscellaneous selection of covers and entires which includes 1805 entire from Dublin to London bearing a fair strike of Crown h.s. in mauve, some mileage and penny post marks, undated Middlewich, a small and neat 1843 correspondence from Chancery Lane to Covent Garden (7) bearing either handstruck "1" or 1d. Paid h.s., 1870 1/2d. pair on cover, K.E.VII 2d. strip of three on registered cover, 1961 railway cover from Blackheath to Charing Cross, 1842 Times addressed to Greenwich with Shooters Hill and Gravesend c.d.s. and 1953-55 a booklet of datestamp impressions of South-East London sub offices showing a wide variety of types in use including registered, parcel post and dateless, some different colours including green and indicating where some were not available as they had been sent either for repair or replacement.
