x Tasmania 1855 watermark Large Star, imperf 4d. blue, a remarkable used block of block of nine with margins all round except at foot of lower right pair, all cancelled by "18" obliterator (Campbell Town), some very light creases not affecting superb appearance. An extremely rare multiple. S.G. 18. Photo Estimate £ 3,500-4,000 Note: Blocks of nine are the largest known multiples. Two are recorded of which this is the finer. The other block, ex Caspary, has not been on the market for over 20 years.
