Orange Free State 1900 V.R.I Overprints First Printings A selection of varieties, comprising 1d. no stop after "R", "d" omitted, "I" omitted (reduced pen mark) and wider space between "1" and "d"; 2d. no stop after "R" and most of "I" and stop omitted; 1/- "1" omitted, "1" omitted and spaced stop after "s", wider space between "1" and "s", "1" struck diagonally and possibly inserted by hand, and another example showing reversed "caslon" type-piece between "v" and "r"; 5/- wider space between "5" and "s" (2); some faults though an interesting group.
