x New South Wales 1854 (10 Jan.) envelope from Sydney "pr Harbinger" to London, bearing 1851-52 2d. blue Plate I, worn impression and 3d. green both cancelled with dumb obliterators, rated "8" and with despatch and arrival (19.4) c.d.s. on reverse; a few small faults though not unattractive. Also 1854 (10 May) entire (a little crumpled and stamp removed) from Sydney "Per the "Golden Age" via Panama" to London, rated "4/-" and showing, on reverse, despatch and arrival (18.7) c.d.s. Photo Estimate £ 180-200 Note: This cover was carried by the "Harbinger", a General Screw Shipping Co. vessel, which sailed from Sydney on 11 January, via Cape Horn, and arrived at Southampton on 18 April
