Type I cachet in violet, showing boxed "t/l", "1d/f.b." h.s. and bearing Postage Due 1d. cancelled at Ramsbottom on 28 January 1919, the reverse with contemporary sent and received notations in indelible ink; the envelope a little soiled and with other small imperfections.
