Antarctica 1928-30 Wilkins-Ellsworth Antarctic Expedition 1929 (28 Oct.) envelope (252x114mm.) registered from South Georgia to Dr. White-Cooper in Devon, endorsed "On Board R.S.S. William Scoresby Sir Hubert Wilkins Antarctic Expedition 1929-30" and bearing Falkland Islands 1929-37 1/2d. (5 with a block of four), 1d., 2d., 2 1/2d. (2), 6d. and 1/- all neatly cancelled with "south georgia" c.d.s., the reverse partially covered with a piece of R.S.S. William Scoresby headed paper marked "from H.W. Sandford" and with Dartmouth arrival c.d.s. (23.12); the envelope with some vertical folds, though scarce and unusual. Photo Estimate £ 200-250
