Antarctica 1901-04 British National Antarctic Expedition by Robert F. Scott The Second Relief Expedition 1904 (16 July) Discovery crested envelope from Dr. Reginald Koettlitz at the Falkland Islands to his brother in Dover, bearing 1/2d. green marginal pair with fine double-ring and showing arrival c.d.s. (21.8) on reverse; the long letters commences with his thoughts on the news that that Discovery is being delayed and goes on to explain the overhaul and refitting that was required in New Zealand; the letter is accompanied by a map drawn by Koettlitz showing Discovery´s track between 1 and 5 March 1904, and two other letters, both on Discovery paper, written earlier from Port Ross (22 March) and Christchurch (17 May). Harrington to Abyssinia 1898 and was Senior medical Officer, as well as botanist and geologist, with Scott´s First Expedition to Antarctica
