Great Britain Postal History 1796-1837, a small selection of Ship Letter and other covers which includes 1835 "india letter/brighton", 1796 "dover/ship lte" on wrapper to London and 1836 "india letter/dover", 1826 "india letter/deal" and 1835 "deal/india letter" in red with the entire marked "Refused", 1837 "india letter gravesend", 1834 "india letter/hastings", boxed "india letter/plymouth" (3), small "india letter/portsmouth" in black (2) and in red, 1834 "india letter/ramsgate" (36mm. letters), a very early date for this, plus Liverpool (2), Penzance and Weymouth; a selection of internal entires including 1825 entire to Southampton bearing very fine strikes of boxed "BATH/Py P." and framed "old down", 1830 entire from Madras to Edinburgh and redirected to London bearing a superb strike of "postage/to/edinburgh/not paid", 1825 circular "helston/279" and other penny and two pence posts; a little mixed in places.
