North Borneo Keningau 1950 (16 Jan.) envelope registered to Kuching, bearing 1947 15c. vertical pair cancelled with a good strike of the "keningau/north borneo" double-ring d.s. (Type D1) in violet and with registration handstamp (Type R1) in the same colour at left, the reverse with Jesselton (19,1), Labuan (21.1) and Kuching (14.2) c.d.s.; an early use of the new 10c. local and 20c. registration rate brought in on 1 January 1950; most attractive.
