Perak Taiping 1876 (20 Oct.) envelope to England, marked "Via Southampton", bearing Straits Settlements 12c. vertical pair placed sideways tied by ink stroke and clearly cancelled by "B/147" obliterator, showing fine "laroot" c.d.s. in red (Type D1, earliest recorded date); a few minor peripheral faults.
