Mauritius 1859-61 Britannia Issue 1/- vermilion, two examples with clear to large margins, each neatly cancelled with 5-ring target obliterators and affixed on 1859 (10 Nov.) envelope (223x149mm.) "via Marseilles" to Bordeaux, variously rated and with French entry c.d.s. in red on face, four transit c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with some creases well clear of the adhesives. A rare franking.
