Gibraltar Mail to or via Gibraltar 1861 (1 Feb.) entire letter from Lisbon "por Alexandria" to Hong Kong, showing despatch c.d.s. and a superb strike of the very rare "paid/postage accounted for by/portugal to g.p.o. london" h.s. together with Gibraltar c.d.s. (5.2), both in the same blue ink, the reverse with double oval-framed "pagou de franquia pelo paquette" Portuguese Packet Letter h.s with manuscript "300" at centre and Hong Kong c.d.s. (27.3). Extremely rare, especially so on mail to China, and certainly the finest of the few recorded example of this handstamp, being possibly unique struck in blue.
