Gibraltar Mail to or via Gibraltar 1853 (9 Mar.) entire from Canton, China "p Mail Steamer Via Gibraltar" to Cadiz, rated "1/10" alongside circular undated "canton/paid" in red, the reverse with Canton (9.3) and Hong Kong (10.3) c.d.s., oval-framed "m. nehemias/gibraltar" oval cachet in blue with manuscript "27.4.53" and, across the join, a fine strike of the Spanish Consul in Gibraltar "Arms" cachet in red; central filing crease just below the undated Canton handstamp, otherwise fine and scarce.
