Canada 1851 laid paper 6d. brown-purple with three margins; 1852-57 handmade paper 3d. selection of singles (8, one marginal), horizontal and vertical pairs, and 6d. slate-violet, on various papers, all used; 1857 machine-made paper 1/2d. rose on thick wove paper, two unused examples with part original gum; a few touched or cut-into in places though generally with four margins.
