Ceylon 1863-66 Watermark Crown CC, Medium Thin and Slightly Soft Paper Perf. 12 1/2 6d. blackish brown with marginal watermark, variety double print, cancelled by oval of bars, fine appearance though thinned. A major rarity and the first that we recall seeing. No example was present in the major collections such as De Worms, De Silva, Harris, Bailey etc. R.P.S. Certificate (1996). S.G. 55ca, £4000.
