Great Britain Used Abroad Gibraltar: 1872 (1 Jan.) envelope to London, bearing 1865-67 4d. vermilion plate 12 and 1867-80 6d. plate 9 with "A26" barred oval cancellations and the earliest recorded use of oval "registered/gibraltar" alongside, red oval "registered/london" arrival of 7 Jan.; some slight faults and creases though attractive and scarce.
