Great Britain 1879 Tender Essays Perkins, Bacon Grenada or South Australia Head; a group of these 1d. essays with rose-pink corner block of four, pairs in dull cobalt and deep bright orange plus single in dull bluish green (with gum); fine and scarce. Photo Estimate £ 400-500 The head was based on that used for the stamps of South Australia and was used, less the corner letters, for the first postcard issue of Grenada (1d. and 1 1/2d. cards included)
