Great Britain 1855-57 No Corner Letters Watermark Large Garter 4d. rose-carmine used with 1/- single and two horizontal pairs, tied by London District "24" cancellations on 1860 (12 Dec.) envelope to Aix en Provence, endorsed "Registered", red "Crown/registered", "pd" in oval and oval "registered/london" datestamp in the same colour; a variety of transit and accountancy markings on reverse; some faults but a spectacular franking.
