Great Britain 1847-54 Embossed Issue 6d. purple, just touched at foot and portion of adjoining stamp at top, used with a pair of 1d. stars tied on 1856 (27 Oct.) entire letter from Liverpool to Marseilles by two good strikes of the Liverpool Spoon cancellations, some soiling otherwise fine and scarce; also 1841 1d. red NJ-OK block of four (NJ cut into at right) used on 1844 (29 Nov.) cover to St. Austell tied by "608" obliterator; some soiling, otherwise fine.
