(perfs. trimmed at top) on 1854 (4 Aug.) entire letter addressed to Mecklenburg Schwerin, endorsed "Via Ostende" and "Registered", London District "46" barred oval cancellations, red "Crown/registered" handstamp ties the 1/-, red "(aus england per aachen) franco" datestamp ties 2d., "p." in oval and framed Recomandirt handstamps, filing fold at right and some other minor imperfections, nevertheless a scarce and attractive franking.
