Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate VII MC-ME horizontal strip of three (MD showing constant variety), large part original gum, large balanced margins all round; vertical crease through the vertical margin between MC-MD and light vertical crease just affecting ME, though neither affecting the very fine appearance of this very rare multiple, being one of the few mint multiples of this plate not from the Earl of Crawford sheet exhibited in Manchester in 1906.
