Octavo, large engraved vignette on title page; finely engraved frontispiece of a monument; pp. 32. BOUND WITH: [ZANNETTI. G.F.] Dell´origine e della antichita della moneta Viniziana Ragionamento. Venice, 1750. Octavo, pp. 56; large engraved vignette on title page; 2 plates of coins; delightfully engraved vignette view on page 1. The two works, rebound together in a slightly later but 18th century, paper covered boards, with manuscript title-label and library references and the two books transposed here with the Latin edition preceding the Italian. Some marginalia, in pencil, in English. With the oval stamp of W. Chambers, with boar at centre and ´S´. These two texts in Latin and Italian are usually found together but with the Italian first. Binding slightly rubbed, but very fine copy. Very scarce. Estimate £ 140-200
