(Forrer V, 430), extremely fine (2) Estimate £ 60-100 Born in 1851, Stephan Schwartz studied sculpture under Prof. Otto Kõnig. He was K.K. Professor at the Viennese Academy and Professor of sculpture and medal engraving at the Kunst gewerbeschule, Vienna. He also engraved the dies for the Serbian and Montenegrin coinages.
