He also worked for the Wessex king Eadred as well as Eadmund. His career as a moneyer neatly reflects the struggle for control of York in the 940s between the Norse Vikings and the kings of Wessex. SCBI/EMC lists 16 coins of Ingelgar for Eadmund.
