R.N.); Italy Star; Defence and War Medals, very fine, mounted as originally worn (5) Estimate £ 80-120 Commander Geoffrey Dennis St. Quentin Marescaux, R.N., born 1901; joined the Royal Navy, 15.9.1914; service during the Great War included as Midshipman, H.M.S. Malaya (battleship), 26.9.1917-1.6.1919; advanced Lieutenant-Commander and appointed A.D.C. to the Governor Designate of the Windward Isles, 6.9.1930; posted Lieutenant-Commander, Instruction Staff, H.M.S. Deadalus (Fleet Air Arm), 24.4.1939; posted in the same capacity to H.M.S. Goshawk (Royal Naval Air Station, Trinidad), 12.10.1940; later postings included as Acting Commander, H.M.S. President.
