Queen´s South Africa 1899-1902, three clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1902 (Lieut: R.J.C. Meyricke. R.F.A.), very fine, with contemporary related miniature award (2) Estimate £ 120-160 Major Rupert John Chabert Meyricke, commissioned Second Lieutenant, Royal Field Artillery, 1897; advanced Captain 1.9.1904; served during the Great War as a Major with the 58th Brigade R.F.A. and died on Malta, 26.1.1916; he is buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery.
