x Spanish Colonies mariana Islands: 1899 envelope to Manila at single registered rate, bearing 1899 handstamped issue 2c. blue-green and 8c. sepia-brown tied by a single strike of oval "gobierno p.m./yslas marianas" in brownish black, the reverse with a very fine strike of Military station No.1 (11.12) c.d.s. and registration datestamp in violet alongside (very few recorded); vertical folding crease, some light wrinkling and envelope slightly reduced at left.
