New South Wales 1863 (21 Jan.) envelope registered from London to Forbes with "To be left at the Forbes Post Office" and "via Marseilles", bearing 1862-64 4d. bright red and 9d. bistre neatly cancelled with duplex and showing "Crown/registered" h.s. and London registered oval d.s. in red; the reverse with East Sheen despatch, Forbes arrival (25.3) and Sydney transit (7.5) on the return leg. The front with boxed "advertised/unclaimed" and straight-line "unclaimed" h.s. in red. A delightful and appealing cover relating to the Forbes gold mine. Photo Estimate £ 400-500
