x Malaya Straits Settlements 1874 (7 Mar.) envelope ex the " James Davis" correspondence from Malacca to Shanghai, bearing 1867-72 12c. tied by "B/172" obliterator, showing light "malacca/p.o" double-ring d.s. alongside and framed "india paid", both in red and, on reverse, Singapore (9.3) and Hong Kong (17.3) transit datestamps.
