x Cape of Good Hope The Triangular Issues 1855-63 White Paper 1d. deep rose-red pair with clear to enormous margins showing large portion of adjoining stamp at one side, neatly cancelled with a fine single strike of the triangular obliterator in red; highly attractive and an outstanding coloured cancellation multiple. The pair is accompanied by a B.P.A. Certificate (1991) for an 1861 cover, from Elands Post to Craddock, which once bore a block of four 1d. values from which this pair has been cut. S.G. 5b.
