Cape of Good Hope Covers and Cancellations 1865 (8 Jan.) envelope ex the Graaff correspondence from Swellendam "via England pr Mail Str ´Roman´" to Leiden, bearing wing-margin 1/- green (torn at top) in combination with 1863-64 1d. deep brown-red with good to large margins, except for left corner which is missing, sharing triangular cancellation, rated "1/-" in red crayon alongside London Paid c.d.s. (date unclear), the reverse with despatch oval d.s., Cape Town (9.1) and Leiden (14.2) c.d.s.; the envelope with some faults though a rare combination franking.
