Great Britain Channel Islands Jersey 1856 (1 Apr.) entire to Amsterdam, bearing 1847-54 embossed 6d. purple (touched on three sides) in combination with 2d. Stars (perfs. partially trimmed off on two sides), both placed sideways and each clearly cancelled "409", showing "Engeland/Franco" h.s. at foot and showing, on reverse, despatch, London (10.4) and arrival (12.4) c.d.s.; attractive.
