† Great Britain 1840 Mulready Two Pence Letter Sheets The front of a letter sheet, the unprinted side used as the address panel to "Mrs Lloyd, Hazelcroft, nr Ripley" and bea ring 1d. ´stars´ tied by superb strike of the Northallerton "569" duplex of 14 June 1859 - an extremely late usage, presumably the complete unused letter sheet had been discovered in an old desk or elsewhere and, unaware that it was still valid for postage, the sender turned it inside-out and used it to contain a letter written some nineteen years after its purchase; slight faults though still attractive and most appealing.
