Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate II CE and CJ (intense black shade), margins all round, used together on neat clean entire to London tied by fine light strikes of the pinkish red Maltese Cross (leaving the profile clear on CE) and showing fine light "southampton/au 17/1840" double-arc d.s. in black alongside; CJ with light crease though in no way affecting the excellent appearance.
