x Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1b EI, small to very large margins, on entire to Edinburgh dated 12 July 1840, cancelled by light strike of the red Maltese Cross, fine light strike of the black "cromarty" straight-line h.s. at left; traces of reduced staining though otherwise fine and most attractive.
