Great Britain Surface-Printed Issues 1881 One Penny Lilac Selection of the issue comprising Die I (14 dots), imprimatur with large margins, one mint and five used examples, also one on very clean neat 1881 envelope to Dunoon tied by superb "iona steamer/greenock" duplex; Die II (16 dots), used (10, on being on 1901 postcard to Sweden), 1885 envelope registered to Bohemia bearing four singles and 1870 1/2d., 1882 envelope bearing a single with red "O.U.S." (Oxford Union Society) underprint, tied by superb Oxford "603" duplex; a mostly very fine and attractive assembly.
